THE ONTARIO HOSPITAL FIPPA FORUM The Ontario Hospital FIPPA Forum is designed for people interested in and responsible for FIPPA issues within their hospitals. The goal of the Forum is to create a hospital-focused FIPPA community in Ontario where ideas can be shared and members can support one another through the FIPPA implementation phase (i.e., until January 1, 2012) as well as going forward. The Forum is a means for the discussion of leading practices and identification of recurring themes and lessons learned in FIPPA office management. To date, there are approximately 70 members registered in the Forum. The Forum membership is limited to hospital representatives and the Ontario Hospital Association. Regulatory bodies and other non-hospital agencies are not included in the membership. All members are encouraged to participate in the discussion. Ontario Hospital FIPPA Forum Sponsors Heenan Blaikie LLP has the largest Privacy and Information Management Law group in the country.
